Sommerrodelbahn

Curves, bridges, jumps - everything is possible. 700 meters down the mountain in a fast ride. From the terrace or the spectator bridge, even just watching is fun! You determine your own speed. It's very simple. Lever forward: accelerate, lever back: brake! A lift pulls you back up the mountain in your sled. The excitement builds - and off you go on a new ride! Dogs allowed on the premises.

Panorama Erlebnis Brücke

A 20-meter high, barrier-free hiking trail above the treetops. From here you have a great view over Winterberg, the Bikepark Winterberg, the Veltins-EisArena and the surrounding mountain ranges. Five fun elements provide an extra thrill: visitors free of giddiness shimmy at dizzy heights, surrounded by safe protective nets, over swaying bridges or swinging platforms.

Kletterwald

Here you can climb, shimmy and balance. At a height of 1-11 metres, you will conquer courses with different elements. You don't need to be particularly well trained, brave or skilled. The main thing is to enjoy the movement. Great fun for beginners, children, adventurous and daring. So that the minis don't have to watch the climbing, but can also get active themselves, there is a separate children's course. Dogs only allowed on the premises.

Fly-Line

This adventure for young and old takes you down the valley suspended under a steel tube. At a leisurely speed of around 12 km/h, you fly through the middle of nature with a fresh breeze and breathtaking views.

Kappi's playground

Kappe Express

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. The fiery red Kappe Express with its two carriages chugs leisurely through Winterberg's streets and takes you up to Erlebnisberg Kappe . Just the thing to "slow down."

Bikepark Winterberg

The Bikepark Winterberg is the most versatile Bikepark in Germany. Here you will find everything for mountain biking, improving your riding technique or just having fun. Up you go with your bike on the 6-seater or 4-seater chairlift, down on 11 professionally designed downhill trails. For beginners and professionals. In the bike station you get rental bikes, protective equipment and service for your bike. Experienced guides improve your riding technique in group and private courses. Dogs allowed on the premises, but not in the tracks!

Chairlift Kappe

The modern 6-seater chairlift brings skiers and snowboarders to the Kappe in winter. In summer, mountain bikers and hikers use the service to comfortably get up the mountain.

Kiosk

At the Sommerrodelbahn kiosk, you can get hot and cold, sweet and savory snacks for in between. You will find plenty of space for a break with the most beautiful view on the grounds of the Sommerrodelbahn. If it is a little colder, our large pavilion is ready for you.

Adventure Golf

Who has the steadiest hand? And who has the best sense of proportion? On our 18-hole course, you can prove how precisely you can hole out. The one who needs the fewest strokes wins.

Mini excavator

Have you always wanted to dig up the soil with the excavator shovel? The children's excavator is particularly popular with our very young guests.

Trampoline

You can really let off steam here! Six people can jump side by side on our new trampoline and have fun. Dogs only allowed on the premises.

Kids Cars

Have exciting races on our little electric cars. The minicars are particularly popular with our very young guests. Dogs only allowed on the premises.

Hostel Erlebnisberg Kappe

The perfect starting point for your eventful day. With 49 two- to six-bed rooms, the hostel Erlebnisberg Kappe is simply ideal for groups and school classes. But also for nature explorers, the house located directly on the Rothaarsteig is the right address. For bike lovers who want to visit the Bikepark (300m) or the trail park (10m) we offer a special bike room with tools and bike wash station.
