Prominent political visit to Winterberg: Anja Karliczek, Federal Minister of Education and Research under Angela Merkel until December 2021, gained an overview of the leisure infrastructure in Ferienwelt Winterberg with Hallenberg in her role as tourism policy spokesperson for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group and member of the Bundestag Tourism Committee.

A date with weight, after all, tourism is the number one economic factor in Winterberg and also an important factor for the national economy. Sustainable concepts, investments, funding programs and, above all, political support at all levels are more important than ever against this backdrop.

Together with tourism promoter Michael Grötecke, the Managing Director of Winterberg Touristik und Wirtschaft GmbH, Winfried Borgmann, and Mayor Michael Beckmann, among others, the federal politician visited our Panorama Erlebnis Brücke at Erlebnisberg and the Winterberg ski lift carousel, and also sought direct contact with the hotel industry and the Winterberg town marketing association and its villages.
