The Erlebnisberg Kappe in Winterberg is with its numerous outdoor offers one of the largest leisure providers in the region. These include the Panorama Erlebnis Brücke, the Kletterwald Winterberg, the Sommerrodelbahn Winterberg, the Fly-Line, as well as the well known and popular Bikepark Winterberg far beyond the borders of the country. In winter, the Erlebnisberg Kappe with its two chairlifts and several ski runs - including the steepest run north of the Main line - is part of the Winterberg ski lift carousel. Every year, hundreds of thousands of guests come to the Winterberg vacation region, a large proportion of whom are also guests at Erlebnisberg Kappe . Our team therefore already consists of over 100 employees* who offer our guests wonderful experiences in summer and winter.
What awaits you
The Fly-Line is a tube system of one kilometer length, stretched in a net of treetops of about 250 trees. Secured in a comfortable harness system and attached to a specially designed sled with automatic braking system, participants fly comfortably down the mountain at about 15 km/h along this pipe system. The Fly-Line is located at the top of the Kappe in Winterberg and is the newest attraction of the adventure mountain.
Your tasks in the new job include:
- Taking care of the guests at the fly line
- Maintenance of the entire site
- Technical maintenance and inspection work
- Advanced training and drills to keep us up to date on the latest rescue techniques.
The fly-line is in operation from about April to November. If you would like to work with us full time, we would be happy to have you assist us in the ski rental during the winter months. In addition to the rental of ski equipment, maintenance work is also carried out by the Fly-Line during this time.
You will need this
You can inspire us with that:
- Experience or interest in outdoor sports and leading participants (climbing experience).
- Ideally a completed outdoor sports training course
- Technical understanding and skill
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of the German language (English & Dutch an advantage)
- Class B driving licence
- Motivation and loyalty
- Humour and team spirit
- Careful, structured and independent work
- Interest in varied work, mainly in the fresh air
