Skill and courage are required in the Kletterwald Winterberg - one of the highlights at Erlebnisberg Kappe in Winterberg. Between heaven and earth, over 70 stations divided into seven courses with different levels of difficulty await visitors. Balancing beams, bridges, nets, ropeways and much more challenge guests. Thanks to the new "Click-it" safety system, children from the age of eleven can now climb on their own. There is a children's course for the younger ones. Here you can really let off steam. Next door, in the largest and most versatile Bikepark Germany, mountain bikers can get started. Beginners will find just as much terrain as experienced bikers. Dirt hills, wall rides, tables and tricky trails, including some new routes, will get your pulse racing. Riders and bikes can ride uphill in comfort on the modern 6-seater and 4-seater chairlifts. The large chairlift Kappe can even be used by pedestrians, making it ideal for incorporating into a walk or hike.
The centerpiece of Erlebnisberg Kappe is the impressive Panorama Erlebnis Brückea 20 meter high hiking trail above the treetops. From here, walkers have a great view over Winterberg, the Veltins-EisArena and the surrounding mountain ranges, as well as the other facilities and attractions in the Winterberg leisure park. For an extra kick, there are five fun elements: visitors with a head for heights can climb over swaying bridges or swinging platforms at lofty heights, surrounded by safe safety nets.
Through bends, over bridges and jumps, guests hurtle down the Sommerrodelbahn 700 meters rapidly down into the valley. The adventure area next to the Winterberg toboggan run is full of surprises - adventure golf, trampoline, children's cars, mini diggers . The kids can have fun on Kappi's playground to let off steam. Kappi the squirrel is a loyal companion for the little ones as they explore.
The adventure playground in Winterberg is lovingly designed and makes every child's heart beat faster. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, take the Kappe express and enjoy a relaxing tour of Winterberg through the large panoramic windows. The Winterberg Bimmelbahn commutes back and forth between the town's market square at the gate and Erlebnisberg Kappe several times a day. The fiery red train takes you directly from the town center to the leisure park.
