What is the Fly-Line?
Die Fly-Line ist die neueste Attraktion am Erlebnisberg Kappe und ist für jedermann ab 3 Jahren geeignet. Bei dieser Mischung aus gemütlicher Achterbahn, Seilrutsche und Naturerlebnisbahn gleitest du an einem Rollschlitten sanft ins Tal. Bei einem gemächlichen Tempo von etwa 12 km/h fliegst du bei frischem Fahrtwind mitten durch die Natur. Auf der knapp 1.000m langen Strecke erlebst du die Sauerländer Natur aus unbekannten Perspektiven. Während du langsam durch Kurven und Kreisel schwingst, kannst du auch die Besucher des Bikeparks bei ihren atemberaubenden Abfahrten und Sprüngen beobachten, da verschiedene Strecken direkt unter der Fly-Line durchführen. Die Fly-Line ist damit eine familienfreundliche Version der Zip-Line und ein einzigartiges Erlebnis!
How does it work?
Die Station der Fly-Line befindet sich direkt unter der Bergstation der großen 6er-Sesselbahn. Hier kannst du deine Tickets kaufen und wirst dann auf die Fahrt vorbereitet. Unsere Fly-Line Guides stehen dir mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und befestigen dich am Schlitten. Dann kann es auch schon losgehen! Bei der rund 5 Minuten langen Fahrt gibt es einiges zu entdecken. Dabei sind die Schlitten nahezu lautlos, wenn sie über das Rohr fahren. Unten angekommen empfängt dich ein weiterer Guide, welcher dich aus der Vorrichtung löst. Nun trennen dich nur noch wenige Meter von der Talstation des Sessellifts, mit dem du nach einer Fahrt mit der Fly-Line wieder kostenlos nach oben befördert wirst, um dich in die weiteren Abenteuer an den Attraktionen im Freizeitpark Erlebnisberg Kappe zu stürzen.

- Start below the mountain station of the 6-seater chairlift - tickets are also available here.

- Once at the bottom, there is solid ground under your feet again
- Nach deiner Fahrt mit der Fly-Line geht es kostenlos mit der Sesselbahn wieder den Berg hinauf

*Children up to 6 years of age need an adult accompanying person to go down the mountain in tandem, i.e. both sleds directly behind each other. The maximum weight for using the Fly-Line is 120 kg.
Damit du nicht zu Fuß wieder den Berg hinauf musst, fährst du nach deiner Fahrt kostenfrei mit der Sesselbahn wieder zurück nach oben.
Bei Regen und/oder Nässe muss die Fly-Line leider solange den Betrieb einstellen, bis es wieder trockener ist. Über den aktuellen Status informiert dich immer unsere Statusanzeige direkt auf der Startseite.

Chairlift Kappe
Comfortably swinging through the nature
On the top of Erlebnisberg Kappe is the mountain station of the 6-seater chairlift "Kappe". In winter, when everything is under a thick blanket of snow, the mountain is a popular destination for many skiers as part of the Winterberg ski lift carousel. Experts will find here the steepest ski slope north of the Main line. Beginners take the easier forest run or try the panoramic slope. Everyone can get back up with the modern 6-seater chairlift.
And in summer? Also then the chairlifts turn with us! Because then especially mountain bikers from the Bikepark Winterberg use the modern chairlifts to ride comfortably up the mountain again; and that together with the mountain bike.
TIP: How about a ride with the Fly-Line?
After a ride on the Fly-Line, the chairlift will take you back to the top free of charge to Erlebnisberg Kappe !
But also hikers like to use the 6-seater chairlift to save a few meters in altitude. As a pedestrian, you can get on the train at the top station as well as at the bottom station, and let yourself swing comfortably through nature at a lofty height. Especially for hikers moving through the mountains of the Sauerland, the hike can be perfectly combined with a chairlift ride. The Erlebnisberg Kappe is located right next to the Rothaarsteig, so the first attractions of the amusement park are only a few meters away. So how about a break or a short break in between?
The 4-seater chairlift "Panoramabahn" on the other side of the Kappe is exclusively available for mountain bikers.
