The nature discovery trail

This year, unfortunately, the nature discovery trail will not open.

The reason for this is the bark beetles, which have been attacking the native spruces for some time. As a result, the trees are dying and a large part of the forest at Kappe had to be felled. The original nature discovery trail is therefore no longer in existence, since on the one hand nature is no longer present as it once was and on the other hand the heavy machinery, such as harvesters and skidders, had to find their way through the forest.

But we also see this as an opportunity: there is to be a new path! Until then, the diverse offers at Erlebnisberg Kappe are waiting for you.
